Well we have hit our 200 mile mark in under 2 weeks. We have spent the last two days,after leaving Lake Champlain, paddling up river on the..... I must say..... Beautiful Missisquoi river. A ton of up river paddling and lining and tracking but my Mom & Dad have managed to keep me safe . Today our first real rain day . We poked our way up into Enosburg Vt. All of us dripping wet. We got to town and got a room at th Samoset Inn an old 1877 huge innm. My Mom and Dad had a great dinner ..... with inland pricing! At the Inn, I for leftover steak yum yum .'up into Canada from here , will be without contact for Andes days ....... stay tuned!

We have completed our first leg of our trip. 150 miles. The NY section complete. We have paddled many lakes are rivers . The Saranac river nearly took us down. Boat got away from Dad while he was lining the boat down some rapids . Luckily he retrieved it and all our gear . Yesterday BIG LAKE -little dog.We made it across Lake Champlain on near glass water .'This truly is my greatest adventure yet ...ease stay tuned. Sorry it took so long to post, no phone service alot .'

The final countdown.

Just wanted to wish you all a special Memorial Day and to give you the heads up on our trip. We head for NY on Monday........will keep you posted on exact launch date and time.....until then, ENJOY YOUR LONG WEEKEND!

The count down begins.

Just a heads up to everyone. We leave on our canoe journey in about two weeks. Somewhere between now and then I'll be typing on an iphone instead of my favorite "lap" top....woof.
